Figured it was basically over at this point, but I guess not. Kane tried to make a mountain out of a molehill, and fucked herself. Releasing emails only related to her opponents and no one else, trying to cover up the fact that her own sister was also involved, even the prosecutor she hired to go after them decided there was nothing there and wouldn’t bring charges. Poor play on her part. That, and declining to bring corruption charges against a couple of Philly democrats in what would have been an open and shut case. She rode in on a wave of anti-incumbent/anti-Corbett voting, should be interesting to see what the next AG will bring. It’ll be an election year, so will the anti-incumbent party vote bring a republican who will make sure Wolf’s administration is always on the up-and-up, or will the straght ticket vote bring another democrat who will overlook anything the administration does? I’ll put my money on it being a strait ticket, but will they ride in on Trump’s coattails or Hillary’s?

The biggest thing about all of this that has me perplexed is how in the hell is Kane still in office? She just won't leave. She has to realize that everyone thinks of her as a joke now, doesn't she?

She has to, but nobody’s going to remove her so why not stay and keep getting that paycheck? At this point, she knows her political career is over for a few years, at least in Pennsylvania. Resigning doesn’t seem to be a thing people do anymore, excluding the above.
